杨彦:
1958年生于青海,回族,本名燕宁。现为中国美术家协会会员、中国宗教协会会员、中国民族画院副院长、北京九三书画院副院长、南京博物院特聘研究员、世界华人美术家协会山水画委员会主席。
杨彦,艺术实践与理论并重,技法与心法兼修。在海内外举办个人画展二十余次。著有《杨彦谈艺》、《李可染山水画技法解析》、《陆俨少山水画技法解析》、《张大千·现代山水画名家作品临析》,出版个人专集有《杨彦书画集》一至八卷、《中国近现代名家画集·杨彦》、《中国当代美术家画集·杨彦》、《中国近现代美术家画集·杨彦》、《中国近现代名家精品丛书·杨彦作品精选》、《杨彦画集》(六种版本)、《远山的呼唤·杨彦山水画集》、《当代画史名家精品集·杨彦卷》、《中国画家·杨彦》,《中国近现代名家精品丛书·杨彦花鸟精品选》、《射影·涉影-杨彦观念摄影》、《中国当代美术家作品集-杨彦》。
杨彦,1958年生,62年开始画火车头,拖拉机和京剧人物,66年用毛笔抄大字报,画刘少奇、邓小平
等漫画。70年画“收租院”组画,73年画孔子、林彪漫画,临颜真卿书法,画芥子园,78年临宋元明清作品,84年入川峡画写生。85年创作《大宁河览胜图卷》,《长白山长卷》、
《唐人诗意》系列。87年创作《远山的呼唤》系列。89年创作《生命的律动——海底》系列长卷,92年创作《山川乡国情图卷》,94年创作《城市之光》系列,《湖》系列,《岛》系列,《一句佛陀》系列、《梅花》系列长卷、画瓷器、刻紫砂和油画、,98年创作《国色天香》系列。2003年,创作《黄山》组画《祖国万岁》、《杂花、清供》系列。05年创作朱砂系列、罗汉系列、《扎西德勒》系列、开始创作《向地球致敬》系列摄影作品。06年创作《香山日记》系列、国外风光系列、金板扇面系列。07年创作《九如》系列,《鹊华秋色》系列长卷,长江图卷。08年创作青藤系列、小品系列。09年于国家体育馆画巨幅泼墨山水《山川乡国情》。2010年创作《非水墨、非油画、非版画、非摄影、非观念》系列作品、书法对联系列、巨幅《上海世博图》。
半个多世纪,我进化的是艺术人生~脑力和体力充盈着画画的事。而开启我觉悟和智慧的力量来自于生命科学,宗教、哲学、美学、物理学、考古、体育、军事、天文学、并有诗歌,戏曲、音乐、舞蹈、建筑、美食等各类杂学,这些实在与虚幻,凝聚并飘散在我走过的所有时空。艺术修养着我的表与里,媒体忽悠着我的才与情,口碑流传着我的是与非。而我在挥毫游走于黑白五彩的宣纸世界时,洞察了人在世间的穿行……我被太阳、四季宠爱着,被朋友呵护着。一路高歌欢乐颂弘法在无处不在的道场。混沌中不期的奇妙是我艺术人生的最大慰藉。我,一个有爱无恨的吉祥快乐金刚!
Yang Yan, Hui Chinese, born in 1958 on Qinghai-Tibet
Plateau, was originally named Yang Yanning. He styles himself
Muyi, Yangyi, with alternative names including Benqi, Owner of
the Mastiff, Owner of Duyijing Study. He is a member of
the Chinese Artists Association, Chinese Religion Association,
Jiu San Society, Vice-President of Chinese Ethnic Groups’
Fine Arts Academy, honored scholar at Nanjing Museum, professor
at the Art School of Peking University, and President for
Landscape-Painting of the Worldwide Chinese Artists
Association.
Yang Yan has learned from Wang Dunhua, Hua Tuo, Ya Ming, Huang
Zhou, Li Keran respectively. He experiments with a variety of
techniques, with specialty in splash-ink painting. His works
extend in categories covering over-size work, album, sketch,
landscape, flowers-and-birds, portrait, animal, and everything
you could imagine. Critiques always highly commend him as the
sun rising from the east, inheriting the traditional yet
developing his unique technique, embracing both southern Chinese
and northern Chinese style, as well as the western style, a
legend in the east, and the outstanding in splash-ink
painting.
Yang Yan values both hands-on experiences and theories, both
techniques and the thoughts behind. He has published books

而我在挥毫游走于黑白五彩的宣纸上时,洞察了人在世间的穿行……浑沌中不期的妙有,使我渐渐成了一个有爱无恨的人!
Yang Yan was born in the Year of the Dog. Over more than half a
century, he has been on a constant march for art since his
birth. Most of his time and thoughts have been spent for
painting solely. Thanks to wisdom from all areas, including
biology, religion, philosophy, art history, physics, archeology,
sports, military affairs, astronomy, as well as poetry, opera,
theater, film, dance, photography, architecture, etc., he finds
his moments of epiphany. He said, all these mentioned above, be
it real or surreal, have left their traces in my life, in terms
of time, as well as space. Art educates my body and soul.
However, I cannot help bragging sometimes via media. And rumors
thus go from town to town, which I do not really care. When I
lose myself in painting with ink, black and color, I could
discover the very true meanings in life… It must be a miracle,
just like universe starts to grow from an infinite chaos, that I
feel so grateful to become never to hate, but always to
love.
